JTJB's
20TH ANNIVERSARY GALA EVENING
"A Journey With Friends" |
|
|

|
JTJB
celebrated an important milestone by
turning 20 on the 1st of February, at the
Conrad International Centennial Hotel,
Singapore. This celebration was graced
aptly by the Guest of Honour Mrs. Lim Hwee
Hwa, Minister of State for Transport and
Finance. Guests steamed in at about
6.30pm for pre-dinner cocktails, followed
by a four-course dinner spread, which was
accompanied by the fine music of The JM
Jazz Quartet.
|
|
The event was attended by Captains of the
Maritime Industry, Ambassadors and Government
Officials.
As part of
the celebration, JTJB unveiled its revised
corporate identity, a new look with the same
commitment, a change in form and style to
journey with confidence.
|

|
This new look
also depicts a new vigour to think outside
the box. The horizontal and vertical
lines of the new logo depict strong
foundation and the potential for growth,
and the intersection of the two lines,
JTJB’s commitment to personalized service.
|
|
|
We were
also thrilled to welcome a special
performance by Jeremy Monteiro, jazz
virtuoso and Cultural Medallion award
winner. Jeremy composed a song
for JTJB’s 20 year journey with friends,
entitled “Journey”, a musical
interpretation of JTJB’s 20 years. And in
keeping with the musical magic and mood of
Jeremy Monteiro’s jazz, JTJB
commissioned a special release CD for all
guests.

That evening,
JTJB recognized the dedication and
commitment of Mr Koh Chin Kiang, who had
20 years of service helping to create the
JTJB we see today. Managing director, Dato
Jude P Benny, also acknowledged colleagues
who had worked hard with him along the
years, and thanked the guests for JTJB’s
success over the past 20 years. |
