Yin Jie is a Legal
Associate in Joseph Tan Jude Benny LLP’s Singapore
office and a member of the Shipping & Admiralty
practice. Before being called to the Bar in 2009,
she was with the firm as a pupil.
Her principal areas of
practice are civil and commercial litigation, with a
particular emphasis on shipping and admiralty
litigation. Her caseload includes Singapore High
Court litigation and Singapore arbitration across
the range of the firm’s shipping practice, which
includes :

and bill of lading disputes
> Cargo claims
> Laytime and
demurrage claims
> Marine
Insurance disputes
Prior to joining
Joseph Tan Jude Benny LLP, Yin Jie worked in a
leading commercial practice in Singapore. She was
involved in various corporate transactions including
due diligence and reviewing of commercial contracts.
Yin Jie received her
LL.B. with Honours from the National University of
Singapore. She also served as the President of the
NUS Moot & Debating Club during her undergraduate
days. She is fluent in English
and Mandarin. |
