After obtaining her LLB Honours in the University of Leicester, Angela completed her Diploma in Singapore Law and Practical Law Course in Singapore, and carried out her pupillage with Joseph Tan Jude Benny. After being called to the Bar in May 2005, she commenced her practice of the law with Joseph Tan Jude Benny.
Angela’s practice areas include admiralty and general litigation.
Under admiralty, she has assisted in the ship finance matters (including sale and purchase of vessels) and claims involving carriage of goods by sea (including disputes with charterparties and bills of ladings).
Under general litigation, she has assisted in disputes concerning international trade finance, breach of contracts and cross-border fraud. She has also assisted in personal bankruptcy cases and corporate insolvency matters involving MNCs, as well as probate matters. She has also assisted in commercial arbitration and mediation in Singapore.
