JTJB NETWORK CONFERENCE 2009, KUALA LUMPUR

The JTJB Network Offices organised a network conference to selected invitees of the Malaysian Maritime Industry on 11 August 2009 at the Carcosa Seri Negara Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

JTJB was represented by 3 network offices at the Conference. Jeremy Joseph of the Kuala Lumpur office spoke on the ‘ghostly’ nature of maritime liens, Ms. Noppramart Thammatheeradaycho from the Bangkok office spoke on Civil litigation in Thailand, and Jane Allan from the Singapore office spoke on Ship arrest in Indonesia. The presentation ended on a high when Dato’ Jude P. Benny, Managing Partner from the Singapore office gave a passionate speech in support of regional arbitration, which drew much support from the captivated audience.

The presentations were then followed by an hour long networking cocktail reception where representatives from JTJB and the conference attendees mingled and exchanged useful information on the shipping matters.
